THE CLUB
The LUTON & DISTRICT MOTORCYCLE CLUB LTD was founded in 1918 by a group of soldiers from the First World War.
They met up when on leave, just to have a great day’s ride, and this is one of the fundamental things that we at the Club still stand for.
Our hard working group of volunteers do their best to maintain that objective from all those years ago, and we aim to ensure the riders that attend our meetings "have a great day’s ride".
Our Motocross Events are held at Old Park Farm, Toddington. We are now into our 20th year here and aim to run 8 events per year.
We are an Auto Cycle Union (ACU) affiliated club and we generally run 6 club race meetings per year most of which are South Midland Centre Championship rounds. We often have guest championships join our race meetings such as South Eastern Evo and NGR Championships.
We are also proud to host the ACU British Vet Motocross Championships. A 2 day British Championship event that takes place once a year in June.
WHO IS IT FOR?
Our club is for adult motocross riders of all skill levels and ages. As long as you are over the age of 15, have your own motocross bike and protective clothing, and can safely ride a motocross bike around a race track then we welcome you. We have classes for all levels of riders as shown below;
Juniors- For Novice to Intermediate level riders of any age above 15

Experts - For riders of any age above 15 that have acheived Expert level status
​
Over 40's - For riders that are over the age of 40
Over 50's - For riders over the age of 50
​
Over 60's - For riders over the age of 60

THE TRACK
Toddington MX is a traditional motocross track on the side of a hill next to J12 of the M1.
The track is the home venue for the Luton and District Motorcycle club and has been in existence for around 20 years. The fast flowing track has a mixture of soils types, some parts are clay based , some loamy, and some parts are sandy, this combined with hill sections, some fun but safe jumps and long lap make it an ideal track for all levels of rider.
The Luton and District Club track team with the generous support of Corr Plant Hire put alot of effort into creating the best layout and conditions for good flowing racing. The track will be well prepared watered and groomed before and during each days racing to make sure the track is always in an enjoyable condition to race on.
